2. Don’t ignore warm-up every day

Just like our body needs exercise every day after we wake up and ready to perform our day-to-day practices, similarly, our piano practice also needs a warm-up every time. Fingers warm-up is a very much important part of piano practice and it should not be ignored at any cost. It makes the blood flowing in your hand, continuously, making it easier to play the piano during practice. Make it a habit of warming up your fingers as well as your hands, before starting any piano practice, no matter what timing and what composition you are doing.

3. Repeat the passages

Make sure you always repeat the passages you are practicing. Experts and musicians spend hours practicing a single practice and repeating it again and again, to avoid falling your music apart during the perform ace. Understand the piano lyrics, process the musical information, and repeat to retain. A lot of patience and discipline is required to study piano. Rewinding what you already know, helps you to remember the things for a very long time and this is a human tendency, that they remember the one, which they repeated for a longer time than the one which they go through for twice or maybe once.

4. Make time to practice the piano

Everyone is busy and if you are only spending your free time learning piano, then don’t do it. Make sure you always set your time per day to spend it practicing piano. Your everyday day to day list must include practicing piano every day, no matter what. If anyway, it got skipped for a day, then regularize it from the next day. Give time to everything you love, but make sure, if you are giving timing to them, then it should be conscious else it will be like wasting the initial time too if left in between.

5. One task at a time

If you are planning to learn one specific tune or one specific song at a time, then make sure you perform and practice that specific song only, on piano. Else, it will create hustle in your piano sessions and create confusion between various tunes and piano sessions. A kind of self-discipline is very much important for practicing pianos. Self-disciple always leads to success, either now or late. Make sure you focus on a single composition or single music at a time and then, rewinding it again and again, to let it become fantastic.

If possible, make sure to always make a practice plan for every week and mark off all the completions as an achievement, when done right. Self-organization is important as it helps people, keeping their work pace in limit and learn and spend time in productive things such as practicing piano.

7. Short Passages at a time

Make sure your brain is at rest when you practice piano since there are a lot of things to memorize while practicing piano. Instead of learning long passages, make sure to learn them in short passages and pay attention to every detail. Become the master of every small section and then master the whole composition. Dividing a big task into small tasks and then completing them, step by step leads to a far more long journey than a small journey to another task. Divide the complete composition into segments and enjoy the flow.
